Operating under the moniker Ryphung, Ryan Phung is a photographer based in Las Vegas, Nevada. His love of photography began as a hobby during his time in college. After graduating, he decided to pursue photography professionally. He has since worked as a freelance photographer, specializing in aerial, landscape, and interior photography; Additionally, he has experience in event, product, and portrait photography. His most recent and most notable work has been featured on the mobile travel app Hopper.

Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hawaii-Manoa. He is a former research associate in solid-state physics at the High Pressure Science and Engineering Center (HiPSEC)— a Department of Energy Center of Excellence. He is also a former adjunct laboratory instructor at UNLV. A copy of his CV can be found here.
